The European Council has imposed sanctions on six entities involved in the war in Sudan, including companies manufacturing weapons for the regular army and procuring military equipment for the paramilitary forces. The EU is following the lead of the US and the UK in imposing sanctions on those perpetuating violence in Sudan.
